Social Media is becoming the way to market yourself to the world and if you are not using it then you are losing out. In fact. 74% of consumers rely on social media to influence their purchasing decisions. (Source: cebit)  There are nearly 1.4 billion Facebook users and Instagram has 300 million users.  (Source: jeffbullas) And Facebook drives more traffic than any other social media site. (Source: kissmetrics)

So with all of these facts it can be very frustrating knowing that you are not using social media and more specifically Facebook to drive people to your site and promote your work. But don’t worry Carol  Cunningham this Saturday will start you on your way to social media expertise. She will be teaching Social Media 101 for Social People Saturday (August 29^th) from 10:30am to 2:30pm. This class will be a great opportunity for those who have never used social media as well as those who are using it but feel they are missing out on all of its possible potential.
